Overflows and Launders
This example illustrates a transient flow though a tank overflow.
Applications
This type of multiphase model has a lot of varied industrial applications which can determine the flow of segregated liquids and gases within vessels, launders and within piping systems.
In this example the simulation can be used to accurately calculate the capacity of an overflow or launder type system, without relying on empirical formula.
Transient restrictions associated with trapped gases or slug flow can be also investigated.
